Isle of Gigha

Sea taxi pick up and drop off at various points on the east coast the island. Attractions on the island include Achamore Gardens and the abundant wildlife, especially seabirds; there is also a small wind farm of 3 turbines on the island. There have been numerous shipwrecks on the surrounding rocks and skerries.

This isn't a definitive list of everything there is to do on Gigha - that would take far too long, but just to give you an idea.
- Enjoy a drink with locals in the community run Gigha Hotel, and while you there sample the lovely bar or dinner menu specialising in locally sourced fare.
- Hire a bicycle from the shop and cycle the island.
- Photograph the highland cows at the north end.

- Climb Creag Bhan, catch the views and have a picnic.
- Explore the magnificent Achamore Gardens and take a run through the bamboo.
- Get your adrenaline pumping with an exhilarating Sea Safari around the island.
- Hire a Sea Kayak, Rowing Boat or wetsuit.
- Visit the Gigha Gallery, take in the latest exhibition and explore the local arts and crafts.
- Treat yourself to a fresh locally caught seafood lunch & wash it down with cocktails at the Boathouse Café.
- Build sandcastles and catch crabs on our sandy shores.
- Walk up to the Windmills and give them a hug.
- Choose a route and walk one of our paths from the Path Network.
- Take the Bodach & Cailleach an offering and make a wish.
- Relax at Gigha's New Dimensions have a hot stone massage, reflexology or get your legs waxed.
- Practice your ball skills on the Gigha Golf Course.
- Explore the wild west coast.
- Celebrate – Get Married or have a family gathering.

- Visit Kilchatten Church ruins and explore the history of Gigha.
- Take some time out in our present Church and check out the stunning stained glass windows
- Bring your fishing rod and catch a trout in the Fishing Loch.
- Watch for Dolphins playing off the South Peir .
- Visit Cara and sit in the Brownie's Chair.
- Miss the ferry and stay another night!
